Was able to grab this quick photograph, intense at the German Border, as armed guards were approaching us. They did not smile at all. We all grew up a bit here, as we all experienced that this was not the USA, and this was truly serious, even as being the Viking Choir.

Viking Choir Rhine Journey.  We went to Margraten WWII cemetary, near Aachen.  Horrible battles near with heavy casualit
Viking Choir Rhine Journey. We went to Margraten WWII cemetary, near Aachen. Horrible battles near with heavy casualities, and well over 1500 paid the ultimate price for freedom, here to rest. Viking Choir President Patty Ludwigson selected a grave to place flowers. On the marker cross inscribed: HERE RESTS IN HONORED GLORY, A COMRADE IN ARMS, KNOWN BUT TO GOD.
